Junior Jammers (5-7 Yrs Old)
Junior Jammers is the perfect introduction to music for students in the early primary years who are eager to explore different instruments in a fun and supportive environment.
Throughout the program, students enjoy a term of learning keyboard, guitar and drums, giving them the opportunity to discover which instrument they enjoy most before committing to ongoing lessons.
To make the program accessible for families, SGMA provides instrument hire, so there is no need to purchase instruments while students are trying them out.
Classes are led by Beth and Flick and are capped at just four students, ensuring every child receives plenty of individual attention and encouragement as they begin their musical journey.
Weekly 30 min lessons - $15 per students + hire fee.
Musical Architects
(composition workshop)

Over the course of the workshop, we’ll cover the foundational steps of composition, from understanding basic music theory to creating your first piece. You’ll learn how to structure your music, develop melodies, and experiment with harmony and rhythm. While the workshop is designed for those new to composition, a basic understanding of music or prior musical experience is recommended to ensure you get the most out of the sessions.

Music Theory Classes
Our small group music theory classes, are structured to prepare students for the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) exams, offering focused support to help you achieve your best results. You'll gain a solid foundation in music theory that will not only help you succeed in exams but also enhance your overall musicianship.
With clear, step-by-step instruction and plenty of practice, you'll be ready to tackle the AMEB theory exams with confidence and set yourself up for success in all your musical endeavours!
